Sisca Soewitomo merupakan perempuan kelahiran Surabaya pada 8 April 1949. Sisca memiliki hobi masak sejak kecil lantaran sering melihat ibu dan neneknya memasak.

Perempuan 73 tahun ini merupakan anak dari pasangan Rp. Tjipto Soemirat dan Rr. Chrysantini Slamet. Untuk urusan asmara, Sisca menikah dengan Soewitomo Soeleiman. Dari pernikahan tersebut ia dikaruniai tiga orang anak yakni Deddy Mulyawan, Novia Rizki Hadiyanti, dan Heygar Soewitomo.

Pendidikan

Rupanya sebelum terjun ke dunia kuliner, Sisca Soewitomo sempat kuliah di Universitas Trisakti Jakarta jurusan Kedokteran. Sayang, Sisca memilih untuk tidak melanjutkan kuliah, kemudian menikah.

Tak lama setelah menikah dan memiliki anak, Sisca ternyata ingin kembali bersekolah. Sisca play on words memilih untuk kuliah di Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Trisakti jurusan Perhotelan. Selanjutnya, ia mendapatkan beasiswa American Institute of Baking di Manhattan, Kansas, Amerika Serikat.

Karier di Dunia Kuliner

Setelah selesai bersekolah, Sisca baru mulai meniti karier di dunia kuliner Indonesia. Nama Sisca Soewitomo mulai dikenal banyak orang sebagai pakar kuliner atau dosen Perhotelan.

Kemudian Sisca Soewitomo mulai wara-wiri di televisi sejak 1996. Saat itu ia menjadi pembawa acara program memasak Aroma setiap hari Minggu. Tak disangka berkat dirinya, Aroma menjadi acara pionir program memasak di televisi.

Bukan cuma itu, Sisca juga sempat jadi master bagi banyak culinary specialist Indonesia yang terkenal. Sebut saja Muchtar Alamsyah, Rudy Choirudin, Deddy Rustandi, dan Haryanto Makmoer.
